Where are you located?

I live in Prospect, KY, but service many different areas, including: Louisville, Oldham County, Goshen, Jeffersontown, Highlands, Middletown, La Grange, Pewee Valley, Fern Creek, North Oldham, Crestwood, Anchorage, Elizabethtown, New Albany, Jeffersontown, Charlestown, and Cincinnati.

Do I have to take off work in order to work with an interior decorator?

When working with us, you do not. I typically like our first meeting to be done during the day so I can see your home’s colors and furnishings in natural light. If you are working from home, I can meet during your lunch time. Installation can be scheduled to match your timeframe.

How does working with Pinakin Designs – Decorating Den Interiors work?

Our process usually includes the these steps: an Initial Consultation either in person or virtually, a Home Tour, the Design Plan and Presentation, and our final Reveal Day. More details can be found on our “How We Work” page. To learn more about our Virtual Consultation, go here.

What happens during the first appointment?

During our first meeting, we will get an overview of the project, your budget, and your goals for the space. We’ll tour the home to get the feel of the space, lighting, and existing décor or furniture.

How do I determine a budget for my project?

If you are having problems determining the budget, I can give you an estimate for the minimum cost of a project, and the potential maximum.

Is there a minimum or maximum project size?

Will you work with existing pieces/furnishings?

Definitely! I can work with your existing pieces or furnishings. Feel free to see my work in the portfolio.

What’s the time frame for your design process?

Depending on the products, scope of the project, and shipping time, projects are completed between 4-8 weeks.
