Beautiful Great Room

Project Overview:

The client’s vision was to introduce additional seating and uplift the great room with modern furniture while maintaining a balance between formality and comfort. Given the soaring ceiling height, I chose a sofa with generous proportions and graceful curves to anchor the space. Matching accent chairs were added to create symmetry and flow, while four side tables and a bold, chunky coffee table provided both functionality and visual weight. A sleek sofa table further defined the seating area.

To enhance the vertical scale of the room, I incorporated two large, handmade 42-inch square paintings that bring artistry and texture to the walls. The design palette centers on a sophisticated mix of gold, black, and champagne tones, creating a rich yet inviting atmosphere. Grounding the entire space is a modern wool rug in black, accented with a vibrant floral design that adds energy and contrast. Together, these elements transform the great room into a formal yet welcoming setting, perfectly suited for both relaxation and entertaining.
